Ave forestal de cola larga, pico negro y anillo rojo alrededor del ojo, sin el antifaz negro del Cuclillo Manglero, especie más común también. Tamaño: 28-31 cm.; peso: 45-55 g. Anida en el este de América del Norte e inverna en América del Sur. En Puerto Rico, especie rara durante la migración en bosques costeros y secos. TAXONOMÍA: CUCULIFORMES; CUCULIDAE; Coccyzinae.
