Mango hummingbirds have a large, curved bill. The male has black, green and violet undersides. The immature male and female have a central black line on the breast, but have more extensive green on the sides than the immature male Antillean Mango. Length: 11-12 cm.; weight: 7 g. Breeds from Mexico to northwestern South America. Accidental on Puerto Rico.
