  3. This month sees a large number of Console cheats to support the usual
  4. collection of PC material.  Why ? You may ask, well over the past few
  5. weeks I have had a number of calls reqesting cheats for various 
  6. non-PC games, plus results from the Questionairres, show that a
  7. large percentage of Cheet Sheets readers also own a console of some
  8. kind....  so here goes with the first batch of console cheats.....

  49. Conventions used in this file
  50. -----------------------------
  51.      "Type", or lists of keys separated by commas, means to press the
  52. keys in order, without holding them down after they've been pressed.
  53.  
  54.      "Hold", or lists of keys separated by plusses, means to press 
  55. and hold the keys in order.  Unless instructed otherwise, don't 
  56. release the key(s) until the end of the code.
  57.  
  58.      "1...4" (for example) means to press any single number in the 
  59. range specified.

  62. JAGUAR GENERAL TRICKS (JAG)

  64. Stupid JagCube Tricks:

  66. As soon as the spinning cube appears, press and hold Pause (or, press
  67. and release Pause+Option before the letters start to fall), then:
  68.      Up     Zoom in
  69.      Down   Zoom out
  70.      Left   Accelerate left
  71.      Right  Accelerate right
  72.      0      Reverse rotation
  73. Release Pause to continue the boot sequence.  Press Reset (* + #) or 
  74. any action button to skip the remainder of the boot sequence.

  118. Note: After entering the Cheat II code, using the Toggle Cheat 
  119. command will give you unlimited life and ammo (the ammo bars will 
  120. run down, then refresh themselves; the energy bar will run down to 
  121. zero and stop).  To get unlimited ammo, you must already have some 
  122. ammo in the weapon.  The Up/Down Level commands cycle through each 
  123. sublevel, both alien ships, and all the air vents.

  125. Freeze Alien Queen:
  126.      Anywhere inside the Queen's lair, save your game, then reload.
  127. Awaken Queen by walking through the lair entrance.  Note that the 
  128. Queen can be damaged while frozen, but won't actually die until you 
  129. "unfreeze" her.

  357.      At the main menu, hold 1+4+7+A.  "Excellent" confirms.  The
  358. following cheats are enabled during gameplay:
  359.      Skip to Next Level     : Option
  360.      Enable Warp Bonus Round: 6
  361.  
  362. Enable Rotary Controller:
  363.      At the Game Option menu, hold Pause on both controllers.
  364. "Excellent" confirms.

  366. Pause Bug:
  367.      At end of the Bacon/Jupiter River bonus round, press Pause just 
  368. as it switches back to the main game (after approximately two and a 
  369. half pulses of the "Excellent!" graphic).
  370.      The graphics in the game will now be slightly glitched.   The
  371. starfield won't scroll, messages won't disappear, the SuperZapper 
  372. might not work, and the web won't be solid-filled.  Entering the 
  373. "Green Path" bonus round effectively ends your game.  Exiting the 
  374. Jupiter River or LSD bonus rounds will occasionally mess up the 
  375. double-buffering of the main game (though it corrects itself after 
  376. you die or finish the level).

  378. Invisible Web:
  379.      Start any Tempest Plus game.  Hold down Option (cheats must be
  380. active) until you get to the rainbow levels.  The web will be 
  381. invisible during the rainbow levels only.
