  3. A few tips obtained via the Internet from David Mackintosh.

  6. I have found.. (or maybe someone else did first but I dind't hear 
  7. about it).. a Brilliant trading route which is totaly safe! the 
  8. route is :
  9.  
  10.  
  11. 1: Go to sol (system)
  12.  
  13. 2: Sell all equipment except for autopilot nav computer and 
  14.    atmospheric shielding.
  15.  
  16. 3: Buy enough fuel for a trip to Bernards star (near Sol)
  17.  
  18. 4: Fill up remaining cargo space with luxury goods
  19.  
  20. 5: Hyperspace to Bernards star
  21.  
  22. 6: Go to a station (I used miller depot)
  23.  
  24. 7: Sell all luxury goods 
  25.  
  26. 8: Buy enough fuel for a trip back to Sol.
  27.  
  28. 9: Fill up remaining space on Robots or Computers
  29.  
  30. 10: Hyperspace to Sol
  31.  
  32. 11: Sell Robots or Computers for huge profit. (look on bulletin board
  33.     for special buyers)
  34.  
  35. 12: Repeat until very rich.

  38. To give you an idea of how well this works , in two hours of playing 
  39. I got from a viper defence craft MII to a Griffin carrier!!

  43. ~More tips obtained from the Internet.

  45. ~I've been hired to kill somebody (as usual) , but when the time came
  46. ~for the 'somebody' to come out of a space station - he didn't ! I 
  47. ~tried loading an old game  and trying agian; but it still didn't 
  48. ~work.  Can anybody tell me why this is happening please? Also does 
  49. ~anybody know how to edit the amount of money you have in the 
  50. ~floppy version?

  53. Usually, they will not come out on the exact time.. if you wait l
  54. ater, about 3 or 4 minutes, sometimes they come out.. I've had 
  55. someone come out much later, and MY problem is that they jump into 
  56. hyperspace immediately.  However sometimes I try to launch a missile 
  57. at them, and as SOON as I launch, there is an explosion, (my missile 
  58. exploding right in front of me, and its not a result of ecm either) 
  59. and then he disapears.. no hyperspace cloud or anything.. but about 
  60. 5 miles out there is debris.. metal alloys.. I'd return to collect 
  61. my bounty, and they say that they are disappointed etc.. Its pissing 
  62. me off because I can't do any assasinations whatsoever! I too have 
  63. it patched.
