  1. Here's a Windows95 tip that I wish was
  2. in one of the readme files that came with
  3. Executor.  It should help you get the best
  4. possible use out of Executor.  It did for me.
  5. (God knows I tried everything!)

  8. After trying 3 top notch Linux OS's with
  9. E/L (and E/D under DOS) I have come to the 
  10. conclusion that Windows95 is the best way
  11. to run Executor.

  13. With a shortcut on my desktop to the executor.exe
  14. file and the following "Properties" set, you can't
  15. go wrong (even with 8 meg of ram).

  17. The "Memory" tab;
  18.  
  19. Conventional Memory-Auto
  20. Initial Environment-Auto
  21. Expanded(EMS)memory-None
  22. Extended(XMS)memory-None
  23. MS-DOS protected-mode(DPMI)memory-13312
  24.  
  25. And these command line switches;
  26. eg: c:\executor\executor.exe -nosplash -nosound -applzone 5m
  27.  
  28. I really only bought Linux (Official RedHat 3.0.3, Slackware 3.0 and
  29. Linux-FT) just to see if Executor would be better under it, it wasn't.
