  23. Actually, for its first several years Insignia's products *couldn't*
  24. support enhanced mode on the 386.  Their product that does support
  25. that is less than a year on the market and although Insignia's
  26. software is much more compatible with the apps that run under it, it's
  27. also *significantly* slower than Executor.

  37. Mat Hostetter has already done much of the work that is necessary to
  38. do PPC emulation.  We are indeed planning on supporting that in the
  39. future.  There will be a performance hit, of course, but part of the
  40. genius of Mat's new synthetic CPU is that we'll be able to target
  41. other architectures as well, so a real cranking Alpha may be able to
  42. emulate a PPC at a pretty impressive rate.  We won't have actual
  43. numbers for a few more months, though.
