  1. Hello again.  Followups directed to comp.os.os2.advocacy.

  9. Go talk to John Soyring or any other high ranking official in IBM's PSP

  19. Agreed!  However, it remains unclear as to whether IBM is going
  20. to get Apple's official support to run Mac binaries under OS/2.  If they
  21. do get that official support, funding from IBM for Executor/2 is unlikely.

  27. I disagree, and have seen the numbers to prove it.  Let's keep this out
  28. of c.e.m.executor, though.  Take it to private email or comp.os.os2.advocacy.

  35. And I don't think that any of the OS/2 advocates want to see these
  36. ports disappear.  Many OS/2 supporters are also Linux supporters,
  37. NeXTStep supporters, Solaris supporters, even Windows NT supporters.
  38. ARDI just shouldn't ignore the large OS/2 community.

  43. Merlin will be in beta within 6-8 weeks, perhaps even before Executor
  44. v2.0 is shipping.  From past beta periods, it's generally 3-4 months
  45. for the GA code to be released.

  50. Don't even *try* to argue that there are more BeBoxes out there
  51. than OS/2 users.  :)

  57. Clearly there is money to be made in the OS/2 market; just look at 
  58. Stardock Systems, which only puts out OS/2 software, and is doing
  59. extremely well.  I think ARDI would be wrong to neglect a market
  60. where they clearly could make a nice sum of money.
