I think we should appreciate, what ARDI has done for us. I like executor to have the possibility to take disks from work ( all Mac's ) home and change or correct them, or to store data at home as a backup. It's worth every cent. If I had enough money of course I would buy a PowerBook or whatever, because executor has some limitations, that makes working on a real Mac easier.
I think at the time the price of between 49 and 99 $ is correct and everbody who tends to buy this will be able. As soon as full functionality is reached I would also pay up to say 200 $ but not much more. Full functionality for me means complete support for the most common used programs like Word, Excel, some drawing stuff, EndNote and support for communication ( Modem ). This would save me a lot of money because no second computer would be needed.
99$ is OK to gamble around ( that means limited functionality ), up to 250 $ to have a good substitue for a real Mac, above it I would quit and buy a cheap PowerBook ( about 1000 $ ).
Too many people handle things like Bernie does, but prices are made by the people and not by the companies in the way that they are not willing to pay more than ...
