  14. Neither of these solutions seems to work under E/D v1.99o, FWIW.  Setting
  15. the refresh rate via ALT-SHIFT-5 puts E/D into some kind of hold state
  16. (the mouse pointer flashes periodically, and no input is accepted either 
  17. via keyboard or mouse).

  19. Is VESA 2.0 required to use refresh?  Or are there other settings (like 
  20. timer ON/OFF) that might affect it?
