-
- That's really the crux of it. Right now I spend large amounts of time
- answering e-mail, a bit of time processing orders/answering the phone
- and the rest of my time debugging and/or coding. I know of a variety
- of applications that we'd like to put in HFVs that wouldn't take that
- much time, but now, *especially* with Cotton in town, I think it's
- more important that we concentrate on getting apps that don't work to
- work rather than helping distribute apps that do work.
-
- After all, if you know the name and ftp site of an app that works, and
- you can pick it up as a .hqx file, running it through Stuffit Expander
- is probably all you need to do to install it.

-
- Well, the selling of 1.99<x> doesn't even cover the bills -- we do it
- mostly to keep people in the loop so we get the feedback we need. It
- defrays the bills, but we really need the killer demo to get the money
- to launch 2.0 the way it deserves to be launched. Right now, top
- priority is getting the minimal System 7 compatility stuff going and
- getting some of the big name apps running.

- If someone wants to set up a site independently of ARDI, if it's run
- with good intentions and adequate supervision, I'll mention that site
- in the FAQ. That will only require me to edit executor-faq.bfnn,
- recompile the FAQ and respond appropriately if there are any
- accusations of copyright abuse. I can squeeze *that* into my busy
- schedule. That's now the unofficial ARDI Web pages are done -- Jered
- Floyd had done it totally out of the goodness of his heart
- (http://vorlon.mit.edu/pub/arditop.html).
