  10. I've actually been at work since about 7am.  I read about the OS/2
  11. problems and began  rearranging my office so I
  12. can try to install OS/2 Warp on our laptop -- a TI TravelMate 4000M --
  13. while I look into other 1.99n bugs.  Unfortunately, just like when we
  14. tried to install it on our Dell OmniPlex 590, the OS/2 installation
  15. disks claimed that they had no drivers for our CD-ROM.  So for now
  16. we'll have to look at your traceback.

  26. Ouch.  It's dying in the library routine "getmntent", which is a
  27. relatively recent addition to the DJGPP library that we use to build
  28. Executor.  My guess is that any program using getmntent and the DJGPP
  29. V2 beta that we used to build 1.99n will die under Warp, but without
  30. Warp installed it may be hard for anyone at ARDI to do more than this.

  32. I'm bcc'ing this letter to DJ Delorie to see if he knows of any
  33. problems with getmntent and Warp.  If we can't get a workaround soon,
  34. I can add a command line switch that bypasses our use of getmntent (we
  35. never used this routine in previous releases of Executor -- it's this
  36. routine that allows us to figure out what DOS hard drives there are,
  37. which is a feature new to 1.99n).

  56. Steve, let me know if you might want to help us figure out how to
  57. install Warp on our laptop.  We really want to have Windows 3.x, Warp
  58. and Caldera's Linux installed on that puppy so we can show Executor
  59. off to people with stacks of hundred dollar bills.
