Well, as far as I can tell, something in the new release is incompatible with OS/2. Just tried it on Machine #3, a 486DX/4-100, 12 megs ram, 850 meg HD (both HPFS and Fat partitions), Diamond Stealth 2-Meg VRAM VLB, which has recently had Warp installed. No network or other modifications.
This is Executor version 1.99n, compiled Tue Jul 4 19:56:10 MDT 1995
CPU type is 80486 or better.
Unable to determine free DPMI memory.
Choosing 1.17 MB for applzone, 0.50 MB for syszone, 0.25 MB for stack
VESA-compatible video driver detected, VBE version 1.2
(no Univbe on this machine)
It fails at the same point as the other two, right after checking the floppy. Again, I've tried the various switches available with Exec, and tried different OS/2 Dos-settings all without success.
So I think it's not compatible, judging from the differences in the machines I've tried. Any ideas? Anyone having any luck? Anything you want me to try?
