  17. Executor should run under OS/2 Warp just fine (I don't normally do this
  18. myself, but I have done it in the past).  If you could be a bit more
  19. specific as to what kind of message it is giving you it may be easier to
  20. help you, but I'll go ahead and make a few stabs at it.

  22. The only time that I have ever had a problem running Executor under OS/2 was
  23. when it gave an "out of memory error".  I could run the MEM command, and
  24. according to it I had 20 megs of Expanded and 20 megs of Extended memory,
  25. but the emulation still gave and out of memory error.  As it turns out I had
  26. the setting "DPMI_MEMORY_LIMIT" set to 4!  This meant that even though I had
  27. effectively 40 megs of RAM, Executor was only able to access 4 of that.  So
  28. what I did was to raise that to about 8 (actually, I raised it to 20, but 8
  29. should work) and the Executor ran fine.  This is most likely your problem,
  30. but if that doesn't work, read on...

  32. One other possibility is that you have the setting DPMI_DO_API set to
  33. disabled.  This should be set to enabled for any Executor session (though,
  34. if I remember correctly it will also work as AUTO).

  36. Also, there were a few mouse problems reported with Executor for OS/2 but
  37. these were mentioned in the FAQ so they shouldn't be causing your problem.
  38. You might also try changing you video card setting to VGA, because I have
  39. seen some OS/2 programs that had trouble with SVGA cards before.  Also, you
  40. might try re-installing Executor, as I've had it corrupt itself a few times
  41. when doing various weird things that I do with it.  :)
