- Of course, running as root all the time is not very advisable. I
- almost never log onto my PC as root, ever since I did:

- rm -rf .*

- on root's home directory (/root). Bye bye system...!!! That was
- about two years ago before I'd learned much about Unix! It would be
- much more advisable to set the directory world writeable, or give each
- user their own system folder.
