  1. I am running Executor with Linux under XFree86 3.1.  For some reason, color
  2. apps do not work correctly.  They come up in black and white.  (only 
  3. black and white...no shades in between.)  I am using an Orchid Fahrenheit,
  4. which uses a S3 924 chip.  For some reason, X is coming up in 6bpp mode.
  5. Could this be the cause of my problem?
