  29. I'm trying to run a number of hypercard stacks, but can only get some to work.
  30. I am using E/Dos 199m under win95

  70. There are a couple nifty Mac games that I've recently started to play at work
  71. on my *real* Mac IIci during...um...well, mostly during lunch, and sometimes
  72. when waiting for long compiles to finish and such.  Honest!  :-)  (*Gulp*)
  73.  
  74. Anyway, I've also tried to run these games under Executor v1.99m, and I was
  75. pleasantly surprised (Yayayay!!) to find that two of them run!  Those two are
  76. Glypha III (a neat Joust clone) and Shatterball (a 3-D breakout game).

  78. The third, however, doesn't seem to run at all.  It's a clone of an old arcade
  79. favorite of mine (Star Castle) called Cyclone.

  81. Any chance of you Nice Folks at ARDI taking a looksie at Cyclone and trying
  82. to figger out what it's doing?  Maybe for v1.99o (since I'm sure v1.99n is
  83. pretty much locked into place except for polishing and buffing)?

  85. Oh -- if any of you readers out there have stuff you think is Really Neat and
  86. want some of us other users (me <grin>) to know about it, why not wander to
  87. the web pages at http://vorlon.mit.edu/arditop.html and add the stuff you've
  88. found to work?  I don't have anything to do with the pages -- but I've been
  89. checking them, and nobody's been adding anything!  :-(

  91. FWIW, I've checked out Cyclone in E/D using 640x480x8bpp, 1024x768x8bpp, and
  92. and few lower graphics modes, and all I see is blackness...  <frown>  Must be
  93. doing something funky with the video -- I seem to remember some kind of video
  94. speed checking routine when I installed it on the IIci here.
