  3.     Much work has been done on printing, and what we're running  
  4. in the labs (which will be frozen as 1.2.1 soon) *does* support EPS  
  5. under Word 5 (that is to say the EPS/TIFF/PICT translator that comes  
  6. with Word 5 will read the EPS for inclusion in a file, and the EPS  
  7. image will appear when you print the file).  We still don't have a  
  8. copy of Cricket Draw to test under Executor, so I can't say how much  
  9. of the bug fixes that are currently in place will fix problems with  
  10. Cricket Draw.  However, Jack's calling of people at Computer  
  11. Associates has resulted in them talking to us, and we are trying to  
  12. convince them to give us free copies so we can take a look at them  
  13. under Executor.

  15.     We're hoping that our NeXTWORLD ad will make some waves and  
  16. bring us enough credibility in ISVs eyes so that they can start  
  17. ponying up free copies of software for us to test under Executor, but  
  18. even if that doesn't work, the extra revenue, that should be  
  19. generated starting in October, will give us more flexibility to buy  
  20. that which isn't given to us.

  22.     If you're already a customer of a software house, it doesn't  
  23. hurt for you to call them up and suggest that they send software our  
  24. way.  It's a shame that the Mac is such a tricky little bugger, but  
  25. then again, if it weren't, I guess we would have competition.
