- I would like to know if anyone using Executor has tried
- using, or would like to use Cricket Draw. I am still
- ball-and-chained to my Mac until I find a way to bring
- 40 Meg of pictures from CD over to the NeXT in an
- editable form. Anyone out there in a similar position?
-
- I have tried CD 1.1 on Executor, and all of the functions
- work. However, the save-as feature to EPS format
- doesn't work...as a matter of fact it hangs the app.
- Also, the print feature does the same thing. This is
- under V1.2. The only other gripes are probably standard;
- that the reshape handles to not align with what is
- illustrated, that the text does not appear unless you
- go into edit mode, that the application doesn't allow multiple
- applications, or to close an application, and that the
- window doesn't scale nicely.
-
- I have not tried using the 32-bit clean version of CD (CD III)
- yet, maybe it will work better. I have also suggested to
- Computer Associates (who writes Cricket Draw) that they
- form an alliance with ARDI.
