  29. There are many possible explanations.  The most likely fix is to
  30. download the latest bleeding edge upgrade (1.99q12) and install that.
  31. It fixes several problems that could cause your machine to hang like
  32. that.

  34. If you find that even q12 hangs also, try:
  35.  
  36. executor -desperate
  37.  
  38. [Note that "executor -desperate" is not available with plain 1.99q.]
