  23. Executor is a 680x0 emulator plus a "clean room" rewrite of the MacOS.
  24. You don't need a copy of Apple's MacOS to run Executor, although
  25. eventually we'll make that an option so you can get really good
  26. compatibility.

  28. We've done the MacOS rewrite in such a way that it can be ported to
  29. various machines.  Executor currently runs on x86 PC's and m68k-based
  30. NeXTstations; in the past we've had it running Mac binaries on a DEC
  31. Alpha.  In the days when ARDI just had a source-compatibility library
  32. it was ported to numerous other now obscure machines.
