  22. I would like to say well done to ARDI as I'm well impressed with
  23. 1.99q12

  25. I am running  E/D 1.99q12 on a 486dx33, 12meg ram 100meg hdd & Dos
  26. 6.22 & also an old  Gravis Ultrasound card (which when running the SB
  27. emulator as well sounds good from Executor :-))

  29. I bought 'Complete Idiots guide to Photoshop' ages ago ... & MAC cdrom
  30. was useless to me at the time.  I tried to install it into an earlier
  31. version of E/D... no chance.. but now :-))) 1.99q12 let me install it

  33.  copied the .sit off the cdrom into a Macvolume.. & expanded it &
  34. installed it. The run the prog & all seemed well.  I could look at
  35. PICT file from another Mac proggy  & a TIF file from the DOS part of
  36. the HDD (Took AGES tho).. not checked much else out, but it doesnt see
  37. the .JPG dos files tho.

  39. The Photoshop version I'm using is v2.5.1b21 & It took 2 minutes to
  40. get from clicking on the icon to being able to do anything with the
  41. prog. The it took 30seconds to load a Mac PICT file of 192k  & I
  42. edited it a bit (that took ages to take effect) & I tried out a change
  43. of mode from RGB to Indexed colour,  that took just under two minutes
  44. as a small guide to the kind of speed...There is no save facility in
  45. the prog (It's a 'try-out version) & I've not got around to installing
  46. the 'plug-ins' yet, but It works!!

  48. I initially tried running the  -info recommendations of appzone3.42m
  49. & got out of memory error.. So I ran it with 10meg  That sorted things
  50. out..

  52. I am looking forward to getting my CDROM when they're ready. Once
  53. again .**Well done ARDI crew**   I'm glad I registered..
