- These applications work under Executor. I believe there is a switch or
- text field in the preferences (Cmd-Shift-5) panel that has to do with
- detecting and handling apps that bypass QuickDraw. I should warn you
- though that performance for these apps is poor, especially in X windows
- based systems. Under E/DOS you can get pretty good performance if you
- have a video card that can do VESA 2.0 and linear framebuffer, or if you
- run UniVBE (helpful for older video boards -- it REALLY sped up my older
- Orchid board).
