  72. I suspect ATM will run fairly soon after E2 ships.  We have already
  73. spent a bunch of time making sure that our internals look like Mac
  74. internals.  I'm sure we've made some mistakes here and there, but I'll
  75. be surprised if we can't get ATM to go.

  86. It's not really that easy.  Ram Doubler isn't too useful when only one
  87. app can un at a time and isn't necessary on systems with decent
  88. virtual memory subsystems (Windows NT, OS/2, Linux, NEXTSTEP, maybe
  89. Windows '95).  Networking drivers have nothing to connect to until we
  90. implement networking and would be difficult to write without a
  91. thorough knowledge of Executor internals.

  99. I agree, but in order to do that we have to have enough engineers so
  100. that we can answer developer's questions.  Right now we're being run
  101. ragged trying to keep on top of c.e.m.e., bugs@ardi.com,
  102. questions@ardi.com and still get BleedingEdge (and soon the beta)
  103. releases out quickly.  When E2 is shipping we'll be able to double our
  104. staff which will actually more than double the amount of engineering
  105. hours we have because right now many engineering hours are spent on
  106. silly things like system configurations, backups, etc.
