- Okay, thanks to pointers from people, I have found and downloaded the
- Apple Doc Viewer. Unfortunately, I have no Mac. I tried to run the Doc
- Viewer under Executor, the Mac emulator, but it cannot run it. Is
- anyone doing Newton development without a Mac? If so, how are you
- viewing the documentation? My desktop PC runs Linux and I would
- appreciate any pointers to methods to get the docs into a format I can
- view from Linux, (e.g. PostScript, PDF, HTML, ASCII).
-
- Also, if anyone knows how to get Doc Viewer or another Mac App that can
- read Doc Viewer files to work with Executor, please let me know.
-
- Many thanks.

- Sure I remember Spectre: my memory may be getting rusty, but I can
- still remember what I was doing 8 hours ago. :) (I use it to log on
- to Compuserve).
-
- Spectre *doesn't* run System 7: why not, only Dave Small knows. :( So
- there's more to it than just using Apple ROMs.
