- Ok, so I should stop using my IDE CD-ROM?
-
- Any cdrom should work given that my bargin basement ACER IDE CD-ROM works
- with my even cheaper soundcard.
-
- I haven't done anything special. Try this, insert the cdrom before you
- start Executor. Then when you get E started, select the drives "strip" and
- make sure that you open the cdrom through the icon that has the NAME of the
- CDROM, not the one that has the appropriate DOS drive letter. This is the
- system I use, and it works well. I can even run the software of the CDROM.
- Although my CPU is now a DX/2 66.
-
- Good luck,
