Here's the planned skeleton of the minimanual we're planning to
enclose with the 2.0 CD. I'd appreciate any suggestions, from new
users describing what puzzles them or from veterans remembering what
they wish they'd known at first.

Inside front cover -- copyright info, contact info
The first and biggest section is the how-to. These pages are numbered
1-20, but they have been expanding as I've worked on them so the
how-to section will actually take up more than 20 of the 32 pages.
1 What is Executor? Capabilities, limitations, platforms, where to
get full information
2 Installing Executor on different platforms
3 Mouse/cursor movement
4-5 Opening volumes and programs; using demos -- windows, folders, files
[several screenshots of desktop in different states here]
6-9 Installing Mac software from floppies/CDs, downloaded stuff
[screenshots of opening a floppy icon, starting an installer,
moving a "text" file from DOS filesystem, menu to set file
creator/type]
10-11 Mac utilities provided w/Executor
[screenshot of UnStuffit in action, maybe one of BinHex]
12 Mac file system -- different forks; 7.3 limitation if stored in DOS
13 Making HFV files
14 Formatting disks -- cannot do low-level format but can put blank
Mac filesystem onto preformatted high-density disk
15 copying/moving -- dragging and HFS_Xfer
[screenshots of dragging an icon and of the HFS_Xfer panel]
16-17 Panels -- preferences panel, pref files
[screen shot of pref panel]
18-20 Command line switches
The last bit will be troubleshooting for the most common problems.
There will certainly be a section on how to get Executor to see floppy
drives, but other than that this is still fairly open (the engineers
have already fixed some other things I was planning on including).
There will be tips on settings for Windows, Win95, and OS/2.
