I used the command line switches: -memory 32M -photo -system 7 It gets to the splash screen, loads plug-ins, etc., ok. Right after displaying the message "Getting memory size", it gives a dialog saying that photoshop cannot be initialized because a disk error occured. I have checked the permissions in the System folder, and I have run both as myself and root. The results are always the same. Has anyone gotten past this point with PhotoShop? --Bill
