Hi Bengt,
here are the current setings from the executor object settings notebook:
(please bear in mind that they were dumped straight to a file from the
notebook)
*DPMI_DOS_API ENABLED*
*DPMI_MEMORY_LIMIT 16*
*EMS_MEMORY_LIMIT 0*
HW_ROM_TO_RAM Off
HW_TIMER Off
INT_DURING_IO Off
VIDEO_8514A_XGA_IOTRAP Off
VIDEO_FASTPASTE Off
VIDEO_MODE_RESTRICTION NONE
VIDEO_ONDEMAND_MEMORY On
VIDEO_RETRACE_EMULATION Off
VIDEO_ROM_EMULATION On
VIDEO_SWITCH_NOTIFICATION Off
VIDEO_WINDOW_REFRESH 1
XMS_HANDLES 32
*XMS_MEMORY_LIMIT 0*
* = essential
rest are (probably) highly desirable at the very least :)
The critical sections are those on video and memory - the entire dump-file is
provided for the sake of completeness <g>, see below
My machine is comprised of the following components:
Octek DCA2 DynamiCache m/b with 8Mb 20ns cache RAM, 16 Mb normal 70ns RAM & AMD
DX4/100 CPU
Tekram DC880VLB cacheing fast SCSI-2 controller w/4Mb cache
Plextor (aka Texel) DM3028 internal 2spin fast SCSI-2 CD-ROM drive
Conner CFP4207S fast SCSI-2 HDD
Number9 GXE64 Pro 2Mb VLB graphics card running w/#9 Warp drivers v 2.52
SoundBlaster16
Some other bits and pieces not currently configured (network card, unformatted
bits of the HDD eagerly awaiting linux 2.3)

The only configuration wrt the cdrom is the stock-standard Warp Connect install
defaults and a 'set cdrom=i:' line in the config.sys for the emx (runtime unix)
environment. Executor/DOS 1.99p5 sees all hpfs partitions and drives on the
scsi bus perfectly on start-up, with no further drivers or hacks applied, as
well as the floppies.
Hope this helps a bit,
Alex
