  26. Does this delay happen when you have a DOS CD-ROM in your drive?
  27. Audio-CD?  Mac CD-ROM?

  29. 1.99p5 fixed (among other things) two bugs, neither of which are what
  30. you're experiencing:
  31.  
  32.         Some DOS systems were experiencing very large delays
  33.         when opening DOS drives under E/D
  34.  
  35.         Linux systems with audio CDs playing would have the
  36.         audio interrupted when Executor started up
  37.  
  38. CD-ROM trouble under DOS is not yet fixed.  We're looking into this,
  39. but for now you can tell Executor to skip your CD-ROM with the
  40. "-skipdrives" option.

  44. will tell Executor to not try to use drive d in any way.  I know it's
  45. tedious to have to do that, but for now that's all we can provide.
