  23. I uploaded E/L-1.99o7 SVGA from vorlon, (couldn't wait for 1.99p )
  24. to test the speed improvement with respect to X-windows.
  25.  
  26. Unfortunately it crashes and I have to reboot because the screen
  27. turns black and I can't change to another VC. I tried to capture the
  28. stderr output in a file, but that seems to disable a svga app to
  29. change to graphics mode.

  32. Linux 1.2.1 with serial mouse
  33. svgalib1.2.7
  34. S3 card with GenDac Ramdac

  36. The svga version of DOOM runs fine ..
