  24. I uploaded E/L-1.99o7 SVGA from vorlon, (couldn't wait for 1.99p )
  25. to test the speed improvement with respect to X-windows.
  26.  
  27. Unfortunately it crashes and I have to reboot because the screen
  28. turns black and I can't change to another VC. I tried to capture the
  29. stderr output in a file, but that seems to disable a svga app to
  30. change to graphics mode.

  33. Linux 1.2.1 with serial mouse
  34. svgalib1.2.7
  35. S3 card with GenDac Ramdac

  37. The svga version of DOOM runs fine ..
