  15. There is a good article in the October, 1995 edition of Macworld on Quix
  16. Computer's emulator which allows a genuine copy of the Mac OS to operate on
  17. PReP based systems.  The article is five pages long and does a nice job of
  18. describing the system and the problems that the company is having with
  19. Apple.  (They are trying to get an OS license from Apple, and Apple is
  20. saying no).

  22. The article also refers to a Quix WWW location, HTTP://WWW/QUIX.CH.  Since
  23. this post is a little off subject, I will keep it short.

  27. I think that Cliff's shareware CD-ROM is a great idea.  Might I make two
  28. related suggestions:

  30.         (1) also suggest a small DOS (Linux) subdirectory containing useful
  31. DOS/Linux utilities aimed at the             Executor users, (e.g. programs
  32. aimed at fixing AOL downloads,  VESA 2.0 emulators, etc.; and, 
  33.  
  34.         (2) helpful Mac utilities that can be used on a real Mac to make
  35. Executor easier to use, e.g. 
  36.             programs helpful at transferring programs from real Macs to
  37. Executor (e.g. programs which will                  split and reassemble
  38. single files over 1.44 megs)
  39.  
  40. I know you have a great deal of work, but I think arming the customer for
  41. this problems reduces complaints and tech support hours for you.  I think a
  42. small section in print in your manual will help.  Most of the people who are
  43. buying Executor now are very computer literate.  Your post 2.0 customers may
  44. be school teachers with far less knowledges.
