The article is five pages long and does a nice job of describing the system and the problems that the company is having with Apple. (They are trying to get an OS license from Apple, and Apple is saying no). The article also refers to a Quix WWW location, HTTP://WWW/QUIX.CH. Since this post is a little off subject, I will keep it short. On another subject... I think that Cliff's shareware CD-ROM is a great idea. Might I make two related suggestions: (1) also suggest a small DOS (Linux) subdirectory containing useful DOS/Linux utilities aimed at the Executor users, (e.g. programs aimed at fixing AOL downloads, VESA 2.0 emulators, etc.; and, (2) helpful Mac utilities that can be used on a real Mac to make Executor easier to use, e.g. programs helpful at transferring programs from real Macs to Executor (e.g. programs which will split and reassemble single files over 1.44 megs) I know you have a great deal of work, but I think arming the customer for this problems reduces complaints and tech support hours for you. I think a small section in print in your manual will help. Most of the people who are buying Executor now are very computer literate. Your post 2.0 customers may be school teachers with far less knowledges. ------------------------------------------------------------ | Stuart G.
