- Any chance of releasing new BleedingEdge releases? I liked

- What is the needed level of development for Executor to go 2.0?
- Is running MS Worddoze 6.0 one of them? (well, that would get close
- enough to Linus' dream of seeing WinWord 6 under Linux - it certainly
- *looks* like Windoze :) Or what other apps are needed...?

- (Actually, running Word 6 for Mac would prove that Executor was a

- It really sounds like *now* is the time to get Executor 2.0,
- while the prices are much lower... and when ARDI really needs the money
- (pre-2.0).

- About student pricing - is there any chance it can be rolled into
- the educational price, at least after a while? When I'm at school,
- and didn't already have a license, it would be impossible for me (and a
- lot of other college students, I have a feeling) to afford $249. I know
- ARDI dosen't have much money (it looks like ARDI's a 9-year-old startup
- :) , but College students (like me in about a month or so :) have even
- less...
-
- Still, once Executor reaches it's goals for 2.0 (running most Mac
- apps, and a fast SVGAlib Linux release), it should sell well, especially
- in the Linux community where full Mac/Windows level applications are
- scarce, to say the least. Executor/Linux should help bridge the gap (and
- it does with Word 5.0)
-
- - Chad,
- who would get a 16MB SIMM, a VLB SCSI card, and a Barracuda 4LP
- if he had the money... :)
- (and also thinks ARDI should license Word 5.1/Excel 4.0 for
- Executor as an OEM-ish package)
