Hackathon I is almost half over. When Cotton returns to Boston, he'll work on completing as many pending features as possible. Mat will work on the NEXTSTEP port and also help me and the DJGPP V2 people make sense out of all the bugs we introduced with E/D 1.99n/1.99o. No matter how much pain associated with installing it, we'll get Warp installed in house for testing, and probably Windows NT as well. When it looks like we're two weeks from finishing adding all the new functionality and finishing finding and fixing all the DOS mystery bugs, we'll schedule Hackathon II, which will be another two weeks, and the beta period will be the six weeks beyond that. We apologize for slipping once again, but we can't go beta until all the features are present and all the major bugs eradicated, and even if we could, it would make no sense to go beta before Windows '95 is on the shelf. It looks like even though it's a bit late, 2.0 will be received very well as a shrink wrapped product. *Then*, with money to hire more engineers, you'll see *amazing* progress out of team ARDI. --Cliff ctm@ardi.com
