However, one would think It would just ignore the cdrom if no MSCDEX was loaded and not freak out. However this may be to the fact that Windows95 assigns the cdrom a drive letter without using mscdex and this is throwing executor for a loop......I will load mscdex in my autoexec anyways to solve this...... One note: Loading mscdex, mouse drivers , etc into your autoexec will slow down Win95 (although it shouldn't be noticable on a fast machine). It forces Win95 into a "Compatibility Paging Mode" that makes it work with unidentifable real-mode drivers, etc....
