I have not been successful ingetting 1.99n (or n4 or n5) to work on my
system. I was fairly happy with 1.99m but things have regressed for me!
I am using a 486-DX66 with 16Mb of memory and an ATI Mach 64 video card. I
would prefer not to use the vesa2 extensions.
My problems are various:
It takes forever to start and spends much time checking the floppy.
When I click on the d: drive icon in the hot bar, it hangs pronto.
I have tried several reinstallations and configuration permutations. Is
anyone else having similar problems? I suspect there may be a hardware
problem as I still have problems if I boot to my old dos 6.2.
