  25. Right, the white border is due to there being no portable way to set
  26. the "overscan color" even under VESA 2.  This is annoying and we may
  27. be able to fix it for some selected video cards with special case code
  28. -- yahoo.

  36. An HFV is just the raw bits that you'd have on a Mac formatted
  37. diskette or hard drive.  It has been suggested that we implement an
  38. option that zeros out unused blocks, and it's a good suggestion, but
  39. it's a lower priority task than many other things on our plate,
  40. getting Photoshop 3 running, for instance.

  42. BTW, as you may be able to tell from this response, I'm approximately
  43. one week behind in answering non-critical mail.  I hope to get caught
  44. up before Hackathon I starts, but I'll probably slip behind again
  45. during Hackathon I.
