  23. Yes, its quite easy, depending on what system you are copying these to.
  24. I believe that a program called "sox" will convert these files, and is 
  25. available as source, compilable on any platform.

  27. I use Linux, and the Lsox package available on sunsite.  All I ahve to do 
  28. is type
  29. sox quack quack.au
  30. and it will make an .au file that I can play.
  31. sox quack quack.wav
  32. makes a .wav file.

  34. If you use DOS or OS/2, I think you can archie for something called sox 
  35. to do the same thing...
