  7. I just got Executor/DOS 1.99n and tried to run it on my computer.  No 
  8. luck.  The screen goes black, then Executor checks the disk drives.  The 
  9. computer does not seem to lock up, but the screen never comes back.  In 
  10. fact, if I reboot, the reboot process goes normally, but the screen 
  11. remains black.

  13. My system configuration:

  15. Quantex 486/66
  16. 16MB RAM
  17. ALGX Cirrus Logic 5434
  18. Windows 95
  19.  
  20. I have tried the following:
  21.  
  22. * Boot to DOS rather than Windows
  23.  
  24. * Run Executor with  -size 640x480
  25.  
  26. * Run Executor with  -applzone 8192
  27.  
  28. * Re-download and reinstall Executor
  29.  
  30. * Run univbe51
  31.  
  32. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver
  33.  
  34. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver + univbe51
  35.  
  36.  
  37. I am a registered user of E/Linux, but over the summer I don't have a 
  38. machine with Linux loaded, so I was hoping to run E/D.

  40. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!
