  11. I just got Executor/DOS 1.99n and tried to run it on my computer.  No 
  12. luck.  The screen goes black, then Executor checks the disk drives.  The 
  13. computer does not seem to lock up, but the screen never comes back.  In 
  14. fact, if I reboot, the reboot process goes normally, but the screen 
  15. remains black.

  19. Quantex 486/66
  20. 16MB RAM
  21. ALGX Cirrus Logic 5434
  22. Windows 95
  23.  
  24. I have tried the following:

  26. * Boot to DOS rather than Windows
  27.  
  28. * Run Executor with  -size 640x480
  29.  
  30. * Run Executor with  -applzone 8192
  31.  
  32. * Re-download and reinstall Executor
  33.  
  34. * Run univbe51
  35.  
  36. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver
  37.  
  38. * Boot with a clean system + mouse driver + univbe51
  39.  
  40.  
  41. I am a registered user of E/Linux, but over the summer I don't have a 
  42. machine with Linux loaded, so I was hoping to run E/D.

  44. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated!
