If it works you won't get an error message of any sort; you'll just get a working file. The error message signifies that something's wrong. Executor seems to believe that the archives are corrupted in some way, but this seems unlikely since AOL checks all its files before making them available for downloading. > Have you tried using CHOPHEAD (if I remember the filename > properly) to do this? Yes, I've tried various things with the Mac-for-DOS utilities like chophead.exe and unstuff.exe. > It may also be a good idea to search the IBM libraries > for Stuffit information, because if I remember correctly there was a > discussion about this a while back because the IBM version of Stuffit also > had problems with AOL files (it won't even recognize them as .SIT archives). That is not the problem, though. Our trouble is that Executor recognizes them as Stuffit archives but believes them to be damaged and unusable. I'll let the list know if and when I have a surefire method of getting them to work. If any AOL users would like to tell me which specific files you are and aren't having trouble with, it might help me. Melissa melissa@ardi.com
