  27. After 1.99n is out we'll be populating our HFV directory with a lot of
  28. apps that people have suggested we let people download.  We're also
  29. working on better instructions to help people through the process of
  30. downloading software to run under Executor.

  32. The archives that we've had the hardest time figuring out are the AOL
  33. ones.  It appears that some AOL archives really are .SIT files and all
  34. you need to do is change the file type and creator to "SIT!" and run
  35. them through Stuffit Expander, but other just don't decompress that
  36. way.  We've asked AOL for some more information, but progress has been
  37. slow so far.

  39. NOTE: we will not be allowing people to upload into the HFV
  40. directories at ftp.ardi.com because we want to make sure what's put
  41. there can legally be redistributed by us.  We will listen to
  42. suggestions, although please wait until 1.99n has been out for a week
  43. before you make them, both because we'll have our hands tied until
  44. then and also we have a backlog of suggestions for HFVs to process
  45. first.
