I have tried versions 1.99k thru 1.99L demos and it's getting lots better with
every upgrade. However my machine has 5 1/4 as my 'A' drive and 3 1/2 as my
'B' drive and although version 1.99L no longer looks for my 5 1/4 'A' drive
(which was a time-consuming pain), when I try to eject the disk it still
crashes. Once in a great while it DOESN'T crash but then it won't recognise
the next disk and crashes. Also it occasionally crashes after running it
under Windows a few times. Also when I exit Executor it sometimes freezes my
computer.
Another problem I have is using BinHex on large files transferring from my PC
harddrive. It works fine for smaller files (maybe under 700k but get an 'end
of file' error on large files. To get around this I zip the file and then use
ZipIt, which unzips the file into Executor from the PC harddrive. Why doesn't
BinHex work on all files?
I used to have an Amiga and an AMAX MAC emulator, which, while not in color,
did provide serial support for modems and could format disks and run Dart and
other disk image programs. Will this, esp. modem support, be available soon?
I would like to purchase Executor but only if you can get it to work with the
disk configuration I have. BTW, it only recognises the harddrive that the
Executor directory is on (my D drive, which is SCSI) - should it recognise my
C drive (non SCSI)? How would I reverse my floppies to make my 3 1/2 the 'A'
