They concern the application FoxBASE+/Mac version 2.0, which I use to maintain a database of cell stocks in our liquid nitrogen freezers at work. The only real Macs we have to do this work on are some decrepit old Mac Classics, and I have a reasonable PC (DX33, 20Mb RAM, 17" monitor), so I jumped at the chance of running Mac programs on the PC instead of the Classics, especially in a 1152x900 X window! So, I set to work installing a few Mac programs, including FoxBase. FoxBase runs fine (seems to, anyway), although help does not seem to work, and it gives 'File not found' messages whenever I try to open any database or program file. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks... Tim. PS... had some trouble printing too... says it can't find a printer. I thought that Executor/Linux used the lpr mechanism to print? Or do I need to set something up first?
