  2.    Just wanted to let you know that I'm currently mirroring ftp.ardi.com:/pub
  3. into vorlon.mit.edu:/pub/ardi

  5.    This should be significantly faster than ftp.ardi.com, I have a 10 Mb/s
  6. link vs. a 28.8k connection.  I plan on mirroring changes nightly, and this
  7. first mirror of existing files should complete within an hour or two.

  36. through the liscence information with `next' (not `ok'), after the
  37. lage page executor will pop up a dialog prompting you for your
  38. registration information.

  70. Executor is really getting to be pretty good!  I like the addition of the
  71. browser.  There are a few strange quirks that I have noticed though...
  72.  
  73. #1--  Although fully functional, why did you choose to eliminate the 
  74.       trashcan?  I know this is just a pickey thing, but thats the 
  75.       cutest thing about the macs, and it'll be hard to convice veteran
  76.       mac users that you have to go to a menu to delete a file.
  77.  
  78. #2--  Executor_DOS gives an error (sorry didn't write down the error number)
  79.       when you delete a file from the new browser, but it --does-- appear
  80.       to delete it just fine.

  82. #3--  Using floppies seems a bit quirky under the new system.  I thought I'd
  83.       simply be able to use ALT-SHIFT-2, and the floppy would appear on the
  84.       "hot-band"...  What I had to do, was first press ALT-SHT-2, then choose
  85.       the scan for floppy option from the menu.  (was that what that option
  86.       was called?  I forget exactly)  Couldn't this be reduced to a one step
  87.       process-- either use ALT_SHT-2, or use the menu option?
  88.  
  89. #4--  There is an awkward pause when you go back to the browser, both when
  90.       it is first loaded, and when you quit out of an application.  I know
  91.       this is not a high priority (getting programs to run is much more 
  92.       important), but if there is a simple fix, it would be nice to speed 
  93.       that bit up.

  95. Other than that, things are looking great!  I'm just waiting for the 
  96. Executor_Linux 1.99l to come out to see if I can print from it! :-)

  98. (by the way, for the above comments, I tested it on a 486DX2-50, HP vectra,
  99. 8MB ram on "DOS6.2/V" with a "ps/2 style mouse", Executor/DOS 1.99l)
