I tried executor using nobrowser. It still wouldn't recognize my floppy disk, orwhen I switched (using the Drive button) to my PC Hard Disk it didn't show any
files.

   Just wanted to let you know that I'm currently mirroring ftp.ardi.com:/pub
into vorlon.mit.edu:/pub/ardi

   This should be significantly faster than ftp.ardi.com, I have a 10 Mb/s
link vs. a 28.8k connection.  I plan on mirroring changes nightly, and this
first mirror of existing files should complete within an hour or two.

P.S. It's good to hear that executor will be supporting 16 and 32 bpp!

if you select the `info' button on the splash screen, and then page
through the liscence information with `next' (not `ok'), after the
lage page executor will pop up a dialog prompting you for your
registration information.

as it said on the first page `Executor will ask you for your serial
number and key at the end of these info panels'.

the best way for you to help us to make it so this won't happen any
more is for you to give us explicit instructions on how to reproduce
each crash that you are seeing.  we can't fix bugs we don't know
about.

Executor is really getting to be pretty good!  I like the addition of the
browser.  There are a few strange quirks that I have noticed though...

#1--  Although fully functional, why did you choose to eliminate the
      trashcan?  I know this is just a pickey thing, but thats the
      cutest thing about the macs, and it'll be hard to convice veteran
      mac users that you have to go to a menu to delete a file.

#2--  Executor_DOS gives an error (sorry didn't write down the error number)
      when you delete a file from the new browser, but it --does-- appear
      to delete it just fine.

#3--  Using floppies seems a bit quirky under the new system.  I thought I'd
      simply be able to use ALT-SHIFT-2, and the floppy would appear on the
      "hot-band"...  What I had to do, was first press ALT-SHT-2, then choose
      the scan for floppy option from the menu.  (was that what that option
      was called?  I forget exactly)  Couldn't this be reduced to a one step
      process-- either use ALT_SHT-2, or use the menu option?

#4--  There is an awkward pause when you go back to the browser, both when
      it is first loaded, and when you quit out of an application.  I know
      this is not a high priority (getting programs to run is much more
      important), but if there is a simple fix, it would be nice to speed
      that bit up.

Other than that, things are looking great!  I'm just waiting for the
Executor_Linux 1.99l to come out to see if I can print from it! :-)

(by the way, for the above comments, I tested it on a 486DX2-50, HP vectra,
8MB ram on "DOS6.2/V" with a "ps/2 style mouse", Executor/DOS 1.99l)
