  1. Just had a look at E/D 1.99l.

  3. Looks good; certainly better and faster, but .... I notice a very annoying
  4. effect on my video screen. Every time E/D writes a large area of the screen
  5. (eg. a frame or window) the whole screen shifts a centimeter down, the top
  6. centimeter blacks out and the screen moves up again. The whole effect looks
  7. like one of these old TV sets that used to have sync problems. It happens
  8. really in a flash; it takes perhaps 100 ms.

  10. I tried another SVGA BIOS extension but the same effect remains.
  11. The whole thing is *very* annoying. It makes using E/D 1.99l almost
  12. impossible. Shame.

  14. Will see one of the coming days whether the same effect occurs on other
  15. computers I can lay my hands on.
