Linux: yes -- student: $25,
faculty, staff and educational institutions: $50,
everyone else: $99
DOS: not yet -- everyone: $99
We're still fighting with DOS extenders and putting the finishing
touches on our serial number/authorization key stuff, but when 1.99j
comes out (1.99i was not made available to the general public) it
should be very easy to administer Executor/Linux site licenses.
There are also a whole bunch of bug fixes (e.g. you get proper colors
under Executor 4).

I have to agree, most piracy protection has the effect of frequently annoying
the personthat buys a copy of a product while slightly amusingthe pirate. I
like the idea of serial number activation, it stops the temptation of most
honest folks without becoming a burden...

IP addresses and ethernet addresses are used by some companies, but I
personally find such licensing schemes much too restrictive. Besides,
it's not the Linux users that we're worried about anyway (at least
right now).
