I remember a few months ago there were plans to merge the
executor 1.2e source tree with the new synthetic CPU, and release a
version 1.3.
I'd still like to have a copy of 1.3 (if it's possible to make
one...). I'm wondering why it hasn't been released (IMHO, some stuff
such as word 5.0 and some games ran better or more reliabily under 1.2e
than 1.99x and I'd like to see that merged with the fast CPU!)
I think the original B&W video code is a bit faster under some
applications than the color one, and I'd like to be able to use both.
(My problem with Word 5.0 is that after some dialogs the UI
crashes - this is under 1.99h, and it's the About Word and the Summary
Info dialog. The system just hangs after those, but Alt-Shift-5 still
works.)
Thanks!
